Sometimes a hold might be placed on your myUSF account, and that happens if you do not conform to University policies and procedures. Holds can prevent you from registering for classes, or can prevent you from changing your class schedule. Here are two common examples of holds: the first is an immunization hold, and that is if you do not provide the University with proof of immunization; the second is a housing hold, and that is if you have not submitted your housing contract. Checking to see if you have any holds on your myUSF account is really pretty easy. All you have to do is first log in to myUSF and click on the student tab under Student Self-Service. Under student records, click Registration. Click Prepare for Registration followed by the relevant semester. Your registration status will be listed here.
